About Gordy
Gordy has a lifelong double recessive genetic disorder that causes spinning behaviors and affects his vision. These neurological and medical challenges are permanent and will always need close management, including ongoing vet care and daily medications. He’s currently stable on his meds, and staying consistent with them is essential. Because of his needs, Gordy should always live indoors with a family ready to handle his special requirements. He has plenty of energy and benefits from structure, routine, and calm yet confident handlers. Potty trained and crate trained, Gordy also loves riding in the car and spending time with people. He is affectionate and thrives on human and especially child companionship. Gordy must be the only animal at home. He does not do well with other dogs and will chase cats and small animals. He needs a patient, understanding adopter prepared to give him the lifelong care and unconditional affection he deserves. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
