About Nina
Nina is a 4.5-month-old puppy with a short fawn-speckled coat, one blue eye, and one green eye—a striking look for a young dog who turns heads wherever she goes. She’s possibly a mix of Australian Shepherd and American Bully, with a friendly, affectionate personality that shines through from the first meeting. Nina loves nothing more than playing with her foster dog brother, chasing tennis balls, exploring during walks, and soaking up attention. She enjoys cuddling and is always eager to curl up in a welcoming lap after a burst of energetic play. Though she came from a tough start, found with her littermate in poor condition, Nina never lost her bright spirit or her love for people. She took instantly to her foster family, and her favorite spot is right beside her human. Now weighing around 15 lbs and expected to reach about 35 lbs fully grown, she’s almost completely housebroken, but very long days can challenge her young bladder. She’s crate trained and comfortable in the home. Nina gets along well with other dogs and adores children, though her youthful enthusiasm is best suited for kids ages 5 and up. She hasn’t met cats, but shows little prey drive. Nina is current on flea, tick, and heartworm preventative, and is ready for a home as loving as she is. Ready to meet your new best friend? Questions about Nina
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Nina’s mix of Australian Shepherd and American Bully generally thrives in a home where she has room to play and companionship nearby. She adjusts well to a house with a yard or an apartment as long as she gets daily walks and engagement.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Both breeds in Nina’s lineage enjoy regular outdoor play, so a fenced yard is ideal but not required if she has frequent walks and playtime. She’s happiest when she can stretch her legs and explore safely.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Australian Shepherds and American Bullies are known to be good with kids. Nina already enjoys the company of children and does best with those over 5, given her energy and playfulness.
