About Nina
Click apply to start the adoption process. Looking for a happy, playful companion? Meet Nina, a 4.5-month-old female with an adorable touch of fawn speckles, one blue eye and one green eye, and the cutest bunny ears you've ever seen! Thought to be an Australian shepherd and bully mix, Nina has a short coat and currently weighs about 15 lbs, likely growing to about 35 lbs at full size. She loves playing with her foster dog brother, chasing tennis balls, going exploring on walks, and soaking up all the attention she can get. Cuddles are her favorite, and she absolutely delights in curling up in your lap. Nina is nearly housebroken and gets high marks from her foster for being the friendliest, happiest pup. She starts off excited but quickly settles for snuggles after playtime, and her loving nature shines through in everything she does. She adores children—though her enthusiastic puppy energy may be best for kids aged five and up. While she hasn't met cats, she doesn't seem to have a strong prey drive and does well with other dogs. Nina is crate trained and adjusts well to routines, and stays healthy with monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Despite a tough start in life, she has shown nothing but resilience and affection. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.

Questions about Nina
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Australian Shepherd and American Bully mixes do well in environments that offer both active playtime and quality family interaction. They adapt well to homes with backyards or to active families who enjoy regular walks and outings.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
A home with a fenced yard is ideal, but regular walks and games of fetch can satisfy their need for exercise. These breeds enjoy spending time outdoors but can adapt to smaller spaces if given enough activity.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Both Australian Shepherds and American Bullies are known for being affectionate and protective with children. They are generally suitable for family homes, especially with children old enough to interact respectfully with a lively, playful puppy.
