About Rosa
Rosa survived brutal neglect—abandoned outside, in pain and alone, with a severe untreated injury. But in the right hands, she has blossomed into a loving, eager presence. Rosa’s surgery saved her, and now what she wants most is to be with people, always nearby. She follows her humans from room to room, leans into every cuddle, and greets the day with gratitude. Around forty pounds, Rosa is unmistakably young and full of spirit. She has a true zest for life, wanting to run, play, and burn every ounce of energy before settling in close with her favorite person. She’s not one to nap quietly in the corner—she wants you, your company, and your participation. With her playful enthusiasm, she’s the Velcro sort that active, engaged people love. Someone home often is ideal for her; so is a household ready for adventure and regular exercise. Rosa gets along well with kids and adores other playful dogs who can match her energy. She’ll thrive with a canine buddy, though she does not get along with cats. She also needs a calm, steady environment now so she can finish recovering after surgery. Rosa’s incredibly resilient and just needs a home willing to offer her consistency, affection, and a sense that the hardest chapter is over. Start the next chapter of her life with her—one filled with only good things. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
