Ruby
AvailableRuby is a medium-sized, short-haired female pit bull terrier mix with a yellow and fawn coat. She is an adult who is fully house trained, spayed, and up to date on vaccinations. Ruby is currently in Detroit, MI, searching for a dedicated home where she can be the only dog.
About Ruby
Ruby has survived dog fighting, but her spirit remains gentle and romantic. She lights up for belly rubs and relishes time with her people, yet can handle being left alone. Ruby is reliably house trained and respectful of your belongings—she keeps herself busy with her toys while you’re out. She came to the rescue with serious injuries from trauma—layers of old and new wounds—and was in rough shape, severely underweight and highly reactive to other dogs. Despite that, Ruby is a manageable, smaller pit bull with a sweet disposition. Yard play, dog toys, and treats are her favorite ways to pass the time. Photogenic and full of charm, Ruby is equal parts silly and deserving. Ruby must be the only dog in her home—no exceptions. She cannot be introduced to other dogs at any time. You’ll have her undivided devotion. Ruby is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and on heartworm prevention. Ready to meet her? Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
