Becky is a beautiful girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart once she gets to know you. She may be cautious at first, especially around new dogs, but with patience and time she truly blossoms into a playful, funny, and affectionate companion. Watching her gain confidence and relax has revealed just how entertaining and sweet she really is. Becky is fully house trained and does excellent in her crate with no accidents or destruction. She walks well on a leash and prefers to explore at her own pace. She knows several commands including sit, down, come, and no. Outside, Becky loves to run, play chase, and show off how fast and agile she is. She especially enjoys backyard playtime, body rubs, and even outside baths. While she can be energetic and playful, she is just as happy being a couch potato as long as she is soaking up attention from her people. Becky does best with slow introductions to other dogs. She can sound intimidating with her warning barks at first, especially when she is in her crate, but once she feels secure she becomes nonstop fun and play with her canine friends. She has shown curiosity around cats without chasing them. She also enjoys being the center of attention with respectful children and is gentle and careful around them. Becky is looking for a patient family willing to give her time to settle in and trust. In return, they’ll gain a loyal, loving, and endlessly entertaining companion who will make a wonderful addition to the right home someday.
