Meet Finley Finley was captured after spending the day roaming around an apartment complex and hiding under cars, and now this sweet girl is ready to find the forever home she deserves. Finley is a young, energetic, and incredibly smart puppy! She would thrive with someone who loves adventures and activities, and she’d likely excel at agility, scent work, or advanced training. More than anything though, Finley simply wants to be close to her people — whether that’s sleeping at your feet, climbing into your lap for cuddles, or proudly bringing you a toy to throw. So far, her interactions with other dogs have been limited, but she has shown herself to be respectful of other dogs’ boundaries and adjusts well based on their reactions. She also LOVES water and will happily join you in the shower… invited or not! Baths are one of her favorite things. Like any puppy, Finley still needs supervision and a puppy-proofed environment while she continues learning the ropes, but she does wonderfully in her crate and hasn’t been much of a barker. She’s extremely people-focused and believes ALL attention is good attention, so positive reinforcement training will be very important for her success. The good news? Finley is so eager to learn and connect with her humans that training should be a breeze. She’s the kind of dog who could very easily become an amazing service dog or highly trained companion with the right guidance. Finley is truly an incredible puppy with such a bright future ahead of her.
