The 80s called, they want MTV back! Meet Rocky Rad, a totally tubular 11-month-old Lab / Great Pyrenees mix, weighing 65.5 pounds (as of 5/9/26). His mom is a Great Pyrenees and Rocky was a stray skateboarder in Tennessee before finding his way to us. He's looking for a cool crib with a fam as rad as he is. Bonus points if you've kept your shoulder pads! Calm, gentle and with a heart full of love, Rocky is the kind of dude that will charm everyone he meets. Whether he's playing Donkey Kong at the arcade or jamming out at a rock concert, his easygoing personality makes him a stellar dog to be around. He's great with kids and animals of all kinds: dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, and pigs! Rocky would even help E.T. phone home if he could! While he enjoys playtime now and then, Rocky's happiest just chilling with his peeps and soaking up affection. He's still learning his obedience skills from Mr. Miyagi and is doing excellent. He's really gotten the hang of "wax on, wax off." Rocky walks nicely on a leash, is house trained, and is eager to keep learning and making his people proud. If you're looking for a dog with a sweet nature and mellow temperament, heeere's Rocky! Mr. T says he pities the fool who won't bring this amazing boy home! All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works. Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted. To learn more about our *shelterless* rescue, adoption fees, and procedures, review the list of Frequently Asked Questions on our website at WWW.GDRNE.COM.
