Whether it’s a weekend camping trip, a scenic drive, or just a late-night gas station snack run, Hunter is always ready to go. Car rides are absolutely his thing. When the adventure winds down, Hunter is happiest curled up beside his people with his beloved blanketies, soaking in the peaceful moments. He’s calm, independent, and quietly affectionate—the kind of dog who doesn’t demand attention every second but always wants to be nearby. His favorite evenings are spent lounging on the couch next to you after a long day of exploring the world together. Hunter is smart and eager to learn, already knowing “sit” and “stay,” and he’s picking up kennel training quickly. He’s not interested in drama and tends to avoid trouble altogether. Cats don’t really impress him much, and while he may show curiosity toward small dogs, he redirects easily. He’s more interested in enjoying the ride than causing chaos. NO LOUD ENVORIMENTS He’s a genuinely sweet dog, but he’s also honest about his boundaries. Hunter doesn’t enjoy tight hugs around his neck, especially from children, and if something makes him uncomfortable, he’ll communicate with a little grunt or warning growl instead of reacting unpredictably. He would thrive with people who understand and respect dogs for who they are. Hunter isn’t looking for a perfect life—just a real one. Our adoption fee is $350, and transport is arranged for post-adoption. The fee is tax-deductible, as we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
