Orca is a sweet sensitive girl who will need time to adjust to her new home. She originally came from a home with lots of cats and has been spending time in foster care. Her foster mom said she was shy at first and spent lots of time hiding. After acclimating to her surroundings, she started coming out more and more and now hops up and sits on her lap and purrs. Ready to Adopt? You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You'll be able to meet available cats in the shelter. (Cats in foster care are not available for in-person visits.) #2- ADOPT REMOTELY OR PLACE A 24-HOUR HOLD** If you're ready to adopt without meeting the cat first, or you'd like to place a non-refundable $25 hold to reserve a cat for 24 hours, just call or email us: (413) 781-4000 x 1 springfield@dakinhumane.org.
