Houdini is ready to steal your heart-and maybe the spotlight, too! This beautiful girl is full of personality and absolutely loves being the center of attention. Her previous owners described her as very talkative, playful, and active, and she always has something to say. Whether she's chirping for attention, chatting about her day, or proudly announcing it's time for pets or snacks, Houdini keeps life entertaining with her constant little conversations. Despite her confident, royal attitude, Houdini also has a soft and snuggly side. When it's time to relax, she loves curling up in your arms while you lay down, soaking up all the affection she can get. She has a way of sitting and staring at you with a proud, queen-like expression that makes it clear she knows she's special! Catnip is one of her favorite things, and she's always ready for playtime and fun. Houdini can be nervous when meeting new people at first, so she may need a little patience while settling into her new home. She previously lived with another cat who was picking on her, so she would benefit from slow, thoughtful introductions to any pets in her future home. With the right setup and time to adjust, she should do well. If you're looking for a cat with lots of personality, endless commentary, and a royal flair for affection, Houdini may be the perfect match for you! Change is hard for this cat. This cat will be very nervous when you first bring them home. You will need to set up a room with a litter box, food, and water. It will take days for this cat to become comfortable and confident in the new home. This cat will be going home with a behavior plan that will need to be followed in order for everyone to transition successfully. Ready to Adopt? You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You'll be able to meet available cats in the shelter.
