Nova Mae is a large, adult black Black Labrador Retriever with a short coat, currently located in Chambersburg, PA. She has been spayed and her vaccinations are current. Nova Mae is not yet house trained but is eager to find a stable and loving home where she can continue to thrive.

About Nova Mae

Nova Mae came to the shelter after her family relocated and couldn’t bring her along. At four years old, she arrived weighing 105 pounds but has trimmed down to a healthier 70. She lives for her daily walks and often grabs a toy to carry along. Nova Mae is energetic and sometimes forgets her own size, so she’s best suited to homes with older children. She’s previously lived with kids, but younger ones might find her overwhelming. Nova Mae is also too much for small dogs, so she’ll need dog friends her own size or larger. If you have cats, introduce them carefully—her curiosity can get the better of her, and she may give chase. Since arriving at the shelter, she’s been spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for Heartworm and Lyme, dewormed, and microchipped. Nova Mae is smart, active, and looking for that second chance in a loving home she can settle into for good. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
