Kanga is an 11-pound 6-year-old Yorkie male. He is a cuddle bug who loves to be with his family and is most content when curled up beside one of his humans. Kanga does have amazing jumping abilities, so a tall wood fence is required. However, when his family is with him, he does not try to get out of the yard. He can, however, jump into the most interesting spaces; for example, on a kitchen chair that is pushed all the way under the kitchen table. Kanga is working on his potty training. He always stays dry in his crate, including all night, so he is capable of holding his bladder but just needs to learn that marking inside is not allowed. Kanga is not crate-trained overnight and would love to share his human's bed. Kanga loves to go for walks. He has loose-leash-walking training (maybe a true "heel") and can be a pleasure to walk. His leash skills are erratic in new environments except for the first time he goes for a walk. Reinforcement will be necessary to continue to develop this skill. No apartments since Kanga is a little vocal when everyone leaves the house. When his human is leaving, he settles back down when other dogs are also present, so he needs a companion dog in the house. Kanga is located in the Dallas, TX area. NO small children, NO big dogs, NO swimming pools unless completely fenced off, and NO doggie door due to his size. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention and has had a dental. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs.
