Meet Mighty Moose, a Lhasa Apso mix, maybe with Maltese or Yorkie or Shih Tzu? He weighs 10lbs and is 7 months old. He has the most beautiful peachy cream colored silky coat! He is great with all people and other dogs although big ones may overwhelm him at first. Once upon a time, in a house full of footsteps, laughter, and the occasional missing sock… there lived a puppy named Moose. Now Moose may be small… …but in his mind? He is a legend. Moose walks through life like he’s ten times his size. Brave. Bold. And absolutely convinced he is in charge of everything. If someone comes to the door—Moose knows. If something moves outside—Moose notices. If you drop a sock… Well… Moose considers that a personal invitation. You see, Moose has a favorite game. He’ll sneak over, grab something (a toy… a sock… maybe something you were just using), and then proudly trot away like he’s just won a championship. Tail wagging. Eyes sparkling. Waiting for you to chase him. Because to Moose… that’s not stealing. That’s fun. Moose is confident, outgoing, and full of personality. He thrives on attention and absolutely loves being part of whatever you’re doing. He doesn’t just want to be near his people— He wants to be with them. Every step. Every room. Every moment. Right now, Moose is learning all the important puppy things. He’s in the early stages of potty training and is already making great progress using potty pads indoors. He’s also just started exploring the big world outside on walks and is adjusting really well. Every day, he’s learning. Every day, he’s growing. And every day, that big personality shines a little brighter. Moose may be small… …but life with him? It won’t be. It will be full of laughter, energy, and just the right amount of chaos. Currently this dog is being fostered at our Rescue Ranch near Houston, TX but can be brought close to your home on rescue transport which comes through your area once a month. Transport info below. Understanding transport: Once everything is all approved, dogs are scheduled on transport using AJC Rescue & Transport (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083418067425). Transport means dogs are carefully and thoughtfully moved via scheduled air conditioned/heated vans from our doggy ranch in Fulshear, TX to a location near you. Each transport consists of a team of two drivers who can alternate. This is how we communicate in real time. The driver who is not driving, will be updating the group chat. You will be included in this group chat to track your dog through transport. You will also be given exact location and scheduled time of arrival. Our drivers do everything possible to run on-time however, things such as traffic, weather etc. can affect arrival time. You will updated regarding delays or possible early arrival. Keep in mind, dogs on transport stop for bathroom, walk and food breaks. For safety, all dogs are crated during transport.
