About Turkish
Turkish is an 8-year-old, white and buff cat who always seems to be smiling. He's had a few different homes but is now looking for his forever spot in Williamsburg, IA. Turkish has lived with other pets but would be happiest as the only pet, soaking up every bit of attention. Still, he's known to cuddle or even groom the other animals and sometimes tries to boss them around. He has a playful side, dragging his rainbow toy from room to room or patrolling the backyard (securely fenced) for birds and squirrels. Turkish enjoys a soft blanket, scratching posts, and making 'biscuits.' He's a good eater, easy with wet and dry food, and his love for seafood treatsāespecially salmonāshows. His water bowl becomes a splash zone after he drinks, but his litter habits are spotless. While Turkish has a new carrier and is warming up to the idea of it, strangers and vet trips are not his favorite. He prefers not to be held but will gladly snuggle on the sofa and communicate when he wants food or affection. Thereās an active, silly streak to himāsometimes heāll get a bit naughty if he thinks dinner is late, so scratching posts are a must. Photogenic and full of personality, Turkish will keep you entertained and make himself the king of your castle. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
