Princess
AvailablePrincess is a senior female domestic short hair/tabby cat with a soft gray and white coat. She is medium-sized, spayed/neutered, and currently living at Safe Haven of Iowa County. House trained and able to live with other cats and calm dogs, she does require ongoing medical care for diabetes and FIV positivity, but responds best to a predictable, caring environment.
About Princess
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Princess is truly the sweetest cat you'll ever meet. As a distinguished senior, she loves nothing more than curling up for naps and sharing warm snuggles with you on the couch. Princess does have some medical needs: she is declawed, FIV positive, and diabetic. Her diabetes requires careful management, with insulin administered twice daily at 7:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., alongside a continuous glucose monitor to help track her fluctuating levels. To keep her feeling her best, Princess enjoys a minimum of three meals of Friskies pate wet food daily. Since her monitor can be tricky, she wears adorable infant t-shirts to help keep it in place. Despite her special care routine, Princess has shown she can peacefully co-exist with another diabetic cat as well as calm dogs in her foster home. She is looking for a quiet, affectionate home that can provide the gentle care and routine she needs. Start your journey together! Apply now.
