Meet Molly Molly is an 11-year-old Yorkie with a gentle soul and lots of love to give. Sadly, due to changing circumstances, her previous owners could no longer provide the care she deserved, and now Molly is hoping for a fresh start with someone special. Since coming into foster care, Molly has shown herself to be a sweet little companion who enjoys attention on her own terms. She loves daily brushing and doesn’t mind bath time at all — a big plus for a Yorkie girl! She gets along well with people and other dogs and especially enjoys playful moments like being gently chased around by her human. Don’t let her age fool you — Molly still has little bursts of playful energy and occasional zoomies. Molly is pee-pad trained and would do best in a calm home that appreciates the needs and routines of a senior dog. One thing to know is that she does get car sick, so shorter trips and a stable routine help keep her comfortable. Molly would thrive with someone patient, kind, and happy to let her settle in at her own pace. In return, she offers sweetness, companionship, and plenty of quiet affection. You will be asked to return for at least one follow-up visit, then take the dog home for a trial period before officially adopting. • You must be 21 years or older to adopt from STAF. • Due in part to increasing coyote activity/incidents in the area and the difficulty of predicting how a dog will respond to invisible fence training, we can not adopt to homes with invisible fences. • We do request vet and personal references. • We can facilitate adoptions within a 30-mile radius of our Cincinnati-based shelter.
