***I'M A TRI-PAWD*** Scotty Tre is a 1-year-old, 50lb dog looking for a special home! Scotty was found wandering in the redwood forests of Northern CA with a badly injured hind leg. Through our partnership with the UC Davis Veterinary Hospital, Scotty was brought to the SacSPCA after receiving some much needed veterinary care. Due to the severity of his injuries, Scotty's leg required amputation surgery, but this newly badged "Tri-Pawd" is adapting quickly! We have no doubt Scotty will be ready for more outdoor adventures in no time! (Of course with supervision of his new family this time). Scotty is an old soul with an easy-going attitude. He loves snuggles, belly rubs, and treats.... and this good boy deserves all three! I don't have a known history of living with other dogs and may be selective, so slow introductions are recommended. I don't have a known history of living with cats, but may do well with proper introductions. I don't have a known history of living with children, but may do well with proper supervision and management in the home.
