About Bobbi
*** If you have any questions or would like to meet any of our adoptable cats, email catadoptions@nawsus.org. Please include a cell number and check your SPAM folder if you do not receive a timely response. Meet Bobbi! She is a 1-year-old special needs girl that needs an adopter to provide her with extra care - could you be the one to make a difference in this girl's life? Helping a special needs animal can be such a rewarding experience - she needs a hero! Bobbi has had a rough start to her young life. She was sadly found on the side of a road with major trauma to her tail and it needed to be amputated. The injury left her with some nerve damage. As a result, she needs to remain on a diet of primarily wet food (dry food should be very limited and only be given for snacking purposes). She requires a daily dose of MiraLAX to help keep her regular. Bobbi can use her litter box, but her nerve damage has made it difficult for her to empty her bladder. She needs someone who can help her to express her bladder 3-4 times a day. Towels should be kept where she sleeps, but she learned her "spot" in her foster home so we are confident she can do it in her forever home too. We understand that the extra care Bobbi needs is a lot to ask, but she is worth it! Her resiliency has been nothing short of amazing and she deserves a chance at a happily ever after. She is a beautiful cat that loves to snuggle with her foster - we believe she will build a very special bond with her adopter and will be incredibly grateful for feeling safe and loved. Bobbi lives in a foster home with both cats and dogs. With a slow introduction, we believe she could live with other animals. She seems to like male cats best. Please consider giving this lovely young girl a chance to steal your heart! She needs a hero! Want to help care for her while she waits to find her forever home? You can be a "Sponsor!" Click on the "sponsor" button on this profile and your one-time donation will be used for vital everyday essentials such as her food, litter and medical care! Thank you for helping save lives! All NAWS cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccines. A Cat Adoption Application is required should you decide you’d like to apply to adopt a NAWS cat.
