Meet Willow — a bright, intelligent, approximately one-year-old Miniature Schnauzer with a sweet personality and lots of potential. She enjoys the company of other dogs, though she can sometimes be a bit boisterous during play. At this time, her experience with cats and children is unknown. Willow's early experiences were not ideal. Her previous owner used a crate as punishment and frequently yelled at her, which has left her feeling nervous and timid in new situations. Because of this, Willow would do best in a calm, patient, and structured home where she can slowly build confidence and learn that she is safe and loved. She is currently pee-pad trained but has not received formal training and is still learning basic skills like walking on a leash. She will also need continued potty training support as she adjusts to a new environment. The good news is that Willow is very smart and eager to learn with gentle guidance and positive reinforcement. With kindness, consistency, and patience, Willow has every chance to blossom into a confident and devoted companion.
