About Charlotte
Charlotte is a 5-year-old Mastiff with a sturdy build, weighing in around 150 lbs. She spent her early life as a breeder dog on a farm, so she’s just starting to learn about being a real family companion. While crate training is in progress, she still gets anxious and may have occasional accidents, but she's adjusting at her own pace. Around children, Charlotte was gentle in her previous home and should do well, though her size means she could accidentally bump little ones. She’s used to being with other large dogs and gets along well with them, but she tends to overwhelm smaller dogs. Charlotte loves a fenced yard, belly rubs, and is working on her leash skills; sometimes she gets worried and freezes up or pulls. She has been spayed, had dental work, and is up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Charlotte is looking for a patient adopter who understands her background and can help her settle in.
