Lagoon is extremely shy, and seems to have a whole different, playful personality that comes out at night and when I'm out of the home. Does the cat enjoy being pet? No, the cat has not let me come close enough to try. In your opinion, what is the best thing about the cat? Why should an adopter choose THIS cat to adopt? Lagoon is opening up, very slowly but surely. Initially he hid under my bed and wouldn't come out at all while i was awake. Over the weeks, he has slowly been coming out in the evening. He loves to sit in a windowsill! I think with an extremely patient person, he will come to trust more. What are the cat's challenges and how have you found to best manage them? Lagoon is very fearful and not interested in interacting with humans right now. He's made a lot of progress over the weeks, coming out a bit more frequently and hanging out. He loves food and I recently discovered he loves catnip so those have been tools to gain trust.
