Big-box store vets or mobile/discount shot services are just not going to cut it.</li> <li><strong>Here's the BIG ONE: thanks to their breeding, ALL Frenchie parents have to be ready to manage and IMMEDIATELY treat an episode of IVDD:</strong><a href="https://www.dogsinmotion.com.au/understanding-and-preventing-ivdd-in-french-bulldogs/" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-saferedirecturl="https://www.google.com/url?q=https://www.dogsinmotion.com.au/understanding-and-preventing-ivdd-in-french-bulldogs/&source=gmail&ust=1755908529846000&usg=AOvVaw0p8eX697g6XUQ8ZqyHIBlH">IVDD 411</a></li> <li>All Frenchie parents must be willing to make the time for daily maintenance and grooming: our Frenchies love their spa time and need (at minimum) all of those folds and crevices cleaned that make them so dang cute. It's a sign of your commitment and care.</li> <li>Bulldog adopters have to be willing to administer eye drops; all those folds make for grumpy eyelids.</li> <li>Last but not least, all lucky bulldog parents should expect to manage the ongoing cost of all the goodies associated with loving a bulldog: including but not limited to: high-quality food, eye drops, medicated shampoo, monthly heartworm prevention, fun toys, vet care, and endless scritches and cuddles (This last one is free)</li> </ul> <p><strong>PHEW - that's a list, but these guys are so worth it.
