Meet SweetPea – Our 5-Year-Old Miracle Girl! SweetPea was once listed for euthanasia due to reported paralysis, but with love, acupuncture, and Chinese herbal medicine, she made a full recovery and now has zero mobility issues. She’s active, fast, and loves her daily walks, enrichment time, and showing off her happy zoomies. She’s also incredibly affectionate. SweetPea loves curling up next to her person for cuddles, belly rubs, and quiet time after a day of fun. She truly enjoys being someone’s special companion. Because of her past, SweetPea will thrive as the only pet in the home where she can be the center of attention. She is not a fan of cats, so a no-cat household is best. With her energetic personality, she would also do well with older kids who understand her playful nature. SweetPea is making great progress with her potty training and will need a patient adopter willing to continue supporting her routine. Medical Note: SweetPea’s future adopter will need to continue her care with a vet who can prescribe Chinese herbal medicine (approximately $70/month).
