John Deere
AvailableJohn Deere is a young, neutered male Domestic Short Hair with an orange and red coat. He is up to date on vaccinations, house trained, and currently living in Leechburg, PA. About John Deere
John Deere was born in the summer of 2025 on a farm near a busy road, which didn’t feel especially safe for a kitten. He and his brothers, Holland and Kabota, arrived at the shelter very sick. Those early days were a blur of handling and medicine. It left John Deere a bit wary, sometimes shy with new faces. But now he’s healthy—neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped—and very much ready for his next chapter. While he might be reserved at first, his natural curiosity wins out once he feels secure. Playing is one of his favorite things, especially with other cats. Being around feline friends brings out his confidence, and he’d thrive in a quiet home with at least one resident cat. John Deere is gentle and open to children if they respect his need for a slower introduction. He’ll do best somewhere calm and peaceful, with an adopter willing to let him open up at his own speed. Once comfortable, there’s a good chance he’ll surprise you with how outgoing he becomes. After a rough start, he’s just waiting for the right person to give him a true sense of safety and belonging.
