Roxette is a sweet girl with a gentle personality and a quietly affectionate side. She has a medium energy level and enjoys spending time near her people, especially if gentle pets and butt pats are involved. Once she’s comfortable, she’ll even seek them out herself. She can be a little reserved at first in new environments and may spend the first part of the day hiding while she settles in, but she adapts quickly and gains confidence fast. Her foster has already seen her become much braver over time. For example, she used to hide whenever the vacuum was on, and now she barely pays attention to it. Roxette enjoys interactive play most, especially wand toys that let her tap into her inner hunter. She isn’t constantly playing, but when she’s in the mood, she loves a good feather toy session. At night, Roxette likes having the freedom to choose her own sleeping spot. Sometimes she’ll sleep on the bed, and other times she’ll find her own cozy place nearby. Right now she tends to prefer sleeping independently, but she still enjoys affection and companionship throughout the day. Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. This cat is currently in a foster home.
