Kane
AvailableKane is a medium-sized, adult male pit bull terrier mix with a merle blue short coat and unforgettable mismatched eyes. He’s house trained and crate trained, and while he hasn’t been neutered yet, his vaccinations are up to date. Kane is currently living in Warren, OH, and would fit well with someone looking for a calm, loyal companion.
About Kane
Kane was supposed to be a temporary guest, but now he needs a permanent home. He’s a stocky, adult bully mix with striking merle blue coloring and mismatched eyes—one brown, one blue—that make him stand out. He’s around 60 lbs, solid and sturdy, but he’s all heart. Kane’s been the go-to dog for introducing new volunteers, mostly because he’s so even-tempered and polite. He rarely makes a sound in his kennel. Take him for a walk and you’ll see how easy he is on leash. Sit on a bench, and he’ll settle quietly beside you, content just to be with someone. Kane is crate trained and reliably house trained. He’s patient—never demanding or pushy, just calmly waiting for someone to notice him. He needs to be the only pet for now, and would do best in a home with older, respectful kids. He’s not a fan of other dogs, and hasn’t been cat tested. More than anything, Kane fits easily into daily life and quietly gives you his trust. It’s tough seeing him overlooked, waiting for someone to bring him home. Give Kane the chance he deserves. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
