Kane We never thought we’d have to post him… but here we are. Kane has been with us for a little over a month. We were simply keeping an eye on him for his owner… but unfortunately, they aren’t coming back for him. And now it’s time for us to do what we do best—find him the home he deserves.And let us tell you about this boy… Kane is a stocky, handsome adult bully breed—around 60ish lbs with the coolest eyes… one blue, one brown that will stop you in your tracks. But it’s not just his looks… it’s his soul. He has been SUCH a good boy since he’s been here. Quiet in his kennel—hardly ever makes a peep One of our go-to dogs for new volunteers because he’s so polite and easy Walks beautifully on a leash (seriously… a dream) Content to just sit beside you on a bench while you check your phone—his company is enough Crate trained Kane isn’t asking for much. He’s not loud. He’s not demanding. He just… waits. Waits for someone to come, to notice him, to choose him. BUT…He’s not too fond of other dogs, so at this time we are recommending him as the only pet. We have not cat tested him. We are asking for older, respectful children to help set him up for success. What he is though… is incredibly sweet. The kind of dog that just wants to be near his person. The kind that will quietly fit into your life and love you in the simplest, most genuine way. And honestly… it’s heartbreaking to watch him sit there patiently every day, not making a fuss, just hoping. Let’s not let him wait any longer.
