Meet Lester🤍 Lester has endured an incredibly difficult start to life. He lived underneath a city building with his mom and a small colony of cats, surviving as part of a TNR (trap-neuter-return) effort where he was eventually neutered, vetted, and released back outside. After returning, tragedy struck when a water pipe burst in the area where they were living, and his mom sadly disappeared and was never seen again. Lester’s hardships didn’t end there—he later suffered a severe tail injury that left him without his tail and with a painful wound that required care. On a rainy day, he was found crying for help, taking shelter in a nearby box. Thankfully, Lester was finally secured along with his good friend Eddie, who had also been surviving outside. Now safe, Lester is a friendly boy who is still learning that he doesn’t have to be afraid anymore. He appreciates slow, gentle pets at his own pace and continues to gain confidence each day. Lester shares a strong bond with Eddie, and we would love for them to be adopted together after overcoming so much side by side outdoors.
