Meet Claudia! This larger black kitty has been staying a little too long in our shelter, or at least that is what she has been telling us. Claudia is tired of living in a confined situation and tired of having to share her space. We get it - the transition to the shelter lifestyle is harder for some cats than others. She does try to interact with our volunteers but the noise from the dog wards or visits from other cats does seem to put a damper on her mood. We think Claudia has great potential to blossom into a lovely companion once she is given some decompression time and settles in (which we recommend for all of our adoptable pets!). What a rewarding experience it will be for her future family. We encourage visitors to stop by the shelter during business hours to meet our adoptables and pick their perfect match.
