My name is S'mores. I am about 1 year old and 55 lbs. My poundage doesn't translate to the way I look! You will be surprised, I am not that big! I am long and lean and almost greyhound like. I am a gorgeous almost painted brindle. My breed mix probably includes a number of lineages - we can see a bunch of things including Black Mouth Cur, Greyhound, Ridgeback, Shepherd? I am a very sweet and gentle dog and yet a fun and playful goofball. I am such a fan of so many things. For one, kids - any age of kids and I have experience with young ones too! I am great with dogs. I actually would prefer that my next home have a dog buddy in it. It's not that I don't adore my humans but the other canine will give me a little confidence to continue to learn about how good life can be! And, I just love to play. I am housebroken and trustworthy in the house without a crate. I will need an understanding family that is willing to let me go at my own pace around new experiences - the trash truck took me a couple of weeks to understand. Positivity and love win me over all the time. I have a wonderful energy and want to please my humans and dog friends alike. A fenced in yard is required; I love to romp and run in my secured area and play fetch! I have been frequenting youth sports gatherings, riding in the car, going on hikes and I am really enjoying it all. I am located in NJ.
