About Toffee
Toffee is one of nine pups born to Piper, a sweet English Pointer mix who arrived at the shelter just a day after giving birth. Toffee stands out with her reddish brown markings, the only pup in her litter with this coloring. She’s three months old, still learning the ropes of housetraining and crate training, but her inclination to use cloth pads indoors suggests she’ll pick it up quickly. Toffee and her siblings embody their mom’s easygoing and friendly temperament; they love to snuggle, settle into laps, and play with toys or chase after their adult dog companions. She’s experienced a variety of settings, from visits to a university for socialization to mingling with families and children. Their time with foster care has shaped them into adaptable, social pups who seem genuinely happy to be wherever people are. Outside, Toffee wrestles and romps around the yard, burning off puppy energy and making the most of her playtime. Toffee has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations, microchipped, wormed, and started on heartworm prevention. She’s spent her early months surrounded by attentive, loving care—ready for a home to keep up the cuddles and guide her through the puppy stage. She’s currently in South Bend, IN. This could be the start of something paw-some.
