Shelby is truly the perfect cat-sweet, affectionate, and full of personality. She absolutely loves attention and will happily seek it out until she gets the love she's looking for. Shelby can coexist with other cats, but she prefers to be the star of the show. She would do best in a home with a calm, submissive cat who will respect her space-or as your one and only. Her story is just as special as she is. Shelby was found in a resident's yard, where she patiently waited at the edge of the yard every day for three weeks, hoping someone would stop to greet her. She appeared to have been someone's pet at one point, but sadly, no one ever came forward to claim her. When she came to us, she had matted fur and a hernia, but she's since received the care she needed and has been fully cleared by the vet. Now, Shelby is ready to find a loving home where she can get all the attention she deserves.
