Initial Evaluation – LillyBelle. LillyBelle is a beautiful 15-year-old senior girl with soft, fluffy fur and big gentle green eyes. This sweet girl recently lost the only home she has ever known when her beloved owner had to move into a nursing home. Through no fault of her own, LillyBelle suddenly found herself at Forgotten Cats. Understandably, LillyBelle is frightened by the unfamiliar sights and sounds of the shelter. Despite being scared, it’s clear that she deeply craves love and reassurance. When volunteers visit her cage, she leans forward hoping for gentle pets and attention. In fact, LillyBelle is so starved for affection that she rubs her face along the sides of her water dish just to give herself a little comfort. This gentle senior doesn’t deserve to spend her golden years in a cage. LillyBelle would thrive in a quiet, loving home with someone willing to give her the patience and kindness she deserves.
