At just under 3 months old, this Malinois/Mastiff mix is equal parts athlete, comedian, cuddle bug, and chaos gremlin—and somehow it all works perfectly together. Mal came to us from a home overwhelmed with not one, but TWO litters of puppies. He is one of TWELVE siblings who were all trying to grow up in the middle of the noise and confusion. Now Mal is exactly where he belongs: safe in a foster home, discovering how wonderful puppyhood is supposed to feel. His personal philosophy? Play hard, sleep harder. Mal launches himself into every adventure with full commitment. Wrestling with his sister Zoe is currently his favorite sport, and he approaches it like he’s training for the Puppy Olympics. He bounces, pounces, zooms, tumbles, and invents games faster than you can keep up with him. Then suddenly, mid-day, he crashes into the deepest nap imaginable—as if being this adorable is simply exhausting work. He’s incredibly social, affectionate, and thrives around other dogs. He can also coexist with patient, cat-savvy cats who won’t be offended by a curious puppy shadow following them around. Like most working-breed puppies, Mal is mouthy, busy, and enthusiastic about everything. Those tiny baby teeth are very real, so he’d do best with older or dog-savvy kids who understand normal puppy behavior and can help redirect him appropriately. Because Mal is a Malinois/Mastiff mix, we are looking for adopters who truly understand the commitment that comes with intelligent, active breeds. This isn’t a puppy who will thrive being ignored in the backyard or expected to “grow out of” his energy. Mal needs structure, enrichment, training, patience, and people who genuinely enjoy building a relationship with their dog. The reward? VETTING: All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped.
