Cherish came to her current rescue with a canine companion but has shown she may prefer to be the only dog. Reserved at first, Cherish has blossomed in her foster home, revealing a sweet and loyal personality—always on patrol by the window or comfortable curled up on the couch in her favorite blanket. She’s playful in bursts and affectionate, though her need to keep tabs on the world sometimes shortens cuddle time. Her foster describes her as ‘a wonderful dog’ who is treat-motivated and eager to learn new things. She currently does not know any commands, but with her bright spirit and motivation, she’s likely to pick them up. Cherish has had excellent crate manners and is about 90% house trained—she would do best with a consistent potty routine to finish her potty training.
