Teddy is ready to travel to a community that will truly cherish him as a family member. He is currently in Oklahoma at our rescue. Because we want his transition to be as smooth as possible, we arrange direct-to-adopter transport to specific cities (listed below!). Adoptions are finalized in advance so that Teddy can hop off the transport and right into your waiting arms. We stand by our pups for life—in the rare event it isn't a perfect match, Teddy is never without a safety net; he will simply return to our care in Oklahoma on the next available transport until his perfect home is found. Teddy is a stunning 6-month-old purebred Golden Retriever (born December 11) who is ready to find his forever family! Teddy’s heritage is 100% official—confirmed by an Embark DNA test. He came to us from a local home, and we’ve already helped his mama get spayed so he can focus on being the last little superstar from his line. Teddy’s Personality Teddy is the definition of a "Typical Golden." He’s got that signature happy-go-lucky spirit and a touch of that charming puppy aloofness where he’s just happy to be wherever the action is. • Social Butterfly: Teddy absolutely loves other dogs. He thrives in the company of canine friends and would likely be thrilled to have a brother or sister to romp around with. • Family Ready: While he hasn't lived with them yet, we are confident he would adore children. • Cat Curious: He hasn't been officially tested with cats, but given his young age and sweet nature, we expect he would adjust to a feline roommate just fine with proper introductions. Training & Manners Teddy is a work in progress, but he’s got a great foundation! • Leash Skills: He knows how to walk on a leash, though he’d often rather turn a stroll into a play session. He’s looking for a partner to help him focus on the path ahead. • The Great Outdoors: Teddy is crate trained, which is a huge head start! He is not yet housebroken, so he’ll need a patient family to show him the ropes (and the grass) as he grows.
