About Rocko Rooster
Rocko Rooster is a four-year-old Siberian Husky who just arrived at Frosted Faces after spending time at the Palmdale Shelter. He’s big, about 81 lbs, friendly, and in that sweet spot between young and mature. Rocko loves being petted and is happy to give gentle kisses back. Out and about, he walks politely on leash, enjoys calm car rides, and even does well during trips to the coffee shop. After a short stay in a foster home, Rocko’s foster dad shared that he’s a well-mannered houseguest. He sleeps through the night, appears house-trained, can use a doggie door, and handled his grooming appointment without fuss. Rocko doesn’t seem to care about cats and is generally more interested in people than dogs at the park. He’s vocal like most Huskies, and will howl—especially if left alone—but this is already improving. He’ll counter surf if snacks are left out, so future adopters should keep food out of reach. Despite this, Rocko’s main focus is being close to his people; he’s happiest glued to your side and is always in the mood for affection or a cuddle. He was born on May 5th, so if you follow astrology, that makes him a Taurus—steady, loyal, maybe a bit stubborn. This friendly, affectionate dog is ready for a new beginning in Ramona, CA. Your new best friend is just one click away.
