About Pete

Pete is a 2-year-old, small, brown and cream Wirehaired Terrier/Jack Russell mix with a wiry coat and plenty of goofy energy. He’s easy to handle on leash and always brings a joyful spark to every walk. Pete is not yet house trained, but he makes up for it with a cheerful nature and a constant sense of fun. He comes neutered and fully up to date on vaccines, flea/tick prevention, and de-worming so he’s ready for a healthy start in his new home. Animal Alliance’s policy does not place Pete (as an adult dog) into homes with children under 9 years old, so his ideal adopters will have older children or an adult-only household. Pete thrives wherever there’s engagement and play—he just needs the right match to make adoption a long-term success. Pete is currently fostered in Lambertville, NJ.
