Meet Tuxedo! Tuxedo is a 4-year-old Border Collie mix with a built-in tux and a brain that’s always working. He’s not the kind of dog who throws himself at strangers. He takes a minute, watches, and figures you out. Give him that space and you’ll see that he is engaged, affectionate, and very pleased with his decision to let you into his circle. Once you're in, you’re in. Tuxedo is smart, tuned in, and he pays attention to everything you do. He learns quickly, notices patterns, and is a dog scientist in an athlete's body. He needs someone steady who understands that smart dogs need a job and boundaries and follows through without making a big production out of it. Tuxedo plays hard, moves fast, and he has zero interest in pretending he’s a calm, low-energy dog. He will run, bounce, and insert himself directly into whatever you’re doing. Personal space is negotiable in his opinion. Tuxedo is looking for a home where he can settle in, trust his person, and have a clear structure. He does best when expectations are consistent and introductions are handled thoughtfully. He needs a fenced yard and a person who doesn’t mind putting in a little work on the front end to get a really solid dog on the back end. He will make an outstanding hiking companion, and he was built specifically for all things adventure Other pets are not his thing. He’s selective with dogs and far too interested in cats, so he’s looking for a home where he can be the only one. He's not looking for trouble, he just prefers not to share.
