She was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Jackson, TN back in April and arrived pregnant with an old leg or hip injury. After giving birth to a litter of adorable puppies on May 1, Gwenie moved into foster care to rest and recover. She’s set to be spayed in July, and her leg will also be examined by vets soon. Gwenie is believed to be a Border Collie/Beagle mix with a medium coat and is estimated to be about 4 years old, born around April 15, 2020. Her adoption fee covers her upcoming spay, microchipping, and vaccinations for rabies, Bordetella, and parvo/distemper with lepto. She’s been dewormed multiple times and started on preventatives for fleas, ticks, and heartworm, with a heartworm test also planned. Gwenie is a devoted mom who is ready to find her forever home where she can relax and be loved. She deserves a fresh start and a family to call her own. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
