This gentle, calm girl has a loving nature and an easygoing personality that makes her an instant favorite. Layla enjoys the simple joys in life—whether it’s going for a walk, playing fetch or tug-of-war with her beloved panda toy, or just relaxing at your feet after a long day. She’s wonderful with kids and other dogs, making her a great fit for many types of homes. Layla is fully potty trained (both outdoors and on a pee pad), crate trained, and sleeps quietly through the night. She’s incredibly intuitive and quickly picks up on routines, making her an easy companion to welcome into your life. She rarely barks and does not show any resource guarding, adding to her calm and trustworthy demeanor. Layla is the perfect balance of playful and affectionate—she’ll be your loyal shadow, your walking buddy, and your go-to snuggle partner all in one. She is microchipped, spayed, and up to date on all vaccines. Her adoption fee is $300. *Layla has an old pelvic fracture which has healed but does cause her to occasionally pick up her back leg if she is going up and down stairs. She had a full exam including xrays by our vet and she does not require any further treatment, but her weight should be maintainted to prevent futher strain on her leg and she may need pain medication in the future as she gets older. This will not limit Layla from being a normal, active dog. She is just not a good match for someone looking for a running or hiking buddy or to walk her multiple miles daily. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs, vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies. Please go to www.secondchancedogrescue.org and complete an application today! All dogs live in private foster homes until they are adopted.
