Juniper
AvailableJuniper is a five-month-old, medium-sized mixed breed female with a short black and brindle coat. While not yet spayed, her vaccinations are up to date. She is house trained and currently living in Buffalo, NY, where she is growing more social every day.
About Juniper
Juniper and her littermates got a rough start in life, abandoned as tiny puppies under a car at a rec center. Despite this, Juniper has become a bright, social little dog who enjoys the company of other dogs after a warm-up period. She currently lives with medium and large dogs and gets along well with them. Cats are too tempting—she can’t resist chasing them, so a home without cats is essential. Small kids make her a bit nervous at first, but she does come around and will shower them with kisses and snuggles once she feels safe. Juniper is crate trained and learning to go potty outside, though she’ll need continued patience while she masters it. Juniper's short brindle and black coat is easy to care for, and at just five months old, she’s looking for someone who can give her the stability she missed early on. Born December 7, Juniper is a Sagittarius—always ready for a new adventure. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!

Questions about Juniper
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Juniper, as a mixed breed dog, will likely thrive in a household with people around to give her attention and guidance. She will do best in a space where she can interact with her family and have structure as she matures.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
A securely fenced yard is ideal for Juniper, but regular walks and playtime can meet her needs if outdoor space is limited. She'll appreciate opportunities for exercise and exploration.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Juniper is fine with children once she has warmed up, though she may be nervous around little kids initially. A home with older or respectful children who understand young dogs would suit her best.
