Poppy was surrendered to Valley Humane on 4/30. She is a young adult dog (estimated to be aged between 1 and 4 years) and weighs 15.4 pounds. In foster care, Poppy is adapting very well to her caregivers. She is very prudent but shows curiosity. She is potty trained, sleeps through the night in her own bed next to her caregivers and is comfortable riding in the car. Poppy is showing excitement when she feels it is time for the morning walk and loves her food. Poppy will jump next to her caregivers on the sofa for a belly rub. She is craving human touch. Poppy is a clever, fast learner and so far, has not been a barker. She is co-existing well with 2 other resident dogs in her foster home. Poppy got a dental cleaning on 5/1/26.
