I’m a three-year-old German Shepherd mix, and even though my story before the shelter is a bit of a mystery — I was found hanging around a carwash, hoping someone kind might notice me — I’m ready to write the next chapter of my life with a family of my own. What I do know is that I love being with people. Nothing makes me happier than spending time by your side, learning your routines, and becoming part of your world. I already walk beautifully on leash, and I know how to sit and lie down. I’m a smart girl with a good head on my shoulders, and with a little more obedience training, I know I can learn so much more. I love using my brain, and I love making my people proud. Other dogs can make me a little nervous, but I can coexist with calm, respectful pups who understand boundaries. I don’t need a rowdy playmate — just a peaceful environment where I can feel safe and understood. I’m ready for a forever home where I can be close to my people, go on walks, learn new things, and finally feel like I belong.
