Dexter is a large, neutered male Hound Catahoula mix, approximately 2 years old. He has a short golden coat and is currently located in Texarkana, TX. Although not house trained, he is vaccinated and not in need of any special care. His weight is currently unknown but he is a healthy adult dog. Dexter thrives in an environment where he can exercise and be the only pet.

Dexter is a spirited 2-year-old neutered male Hound Catahoula mix. His energetic personality shines, making him a great companion for someone with ample land where he can roam and explore. While Dexter is incredibly sweet, he thrives best as the only dog and can be protective of his people. He has been in the rescue since he was just 8 weeks old. Unfortunately, he was returned after an adoption because he struggled to manage his energy around small grandchildren. This lovely guy will make a loyal friend for those who can match his enthusiasm and provide him the space he needs. Dexter is looking for that special someone who understands his needs.
