Diesel isn’t for first-timers or the faint of heart. He’s best suited for experienced handlers who can handle rough play and know how to manage big, strong dogs. Diesel shows off with a lot of bluffing—lunging and posturing—but it’s mostly just that: bluff. He’ll barrel into you like a linebacker and can easily knock someone down, but he doesn’t intend harm. Our techs have figured him out and safely run him through his paces. Food is a trigger: Diesel is very food-aggressive, so he can’t be fed with other dogs. He gets along with strong, alpha female dogs, but not with other males, and he’s absolutely not a fit for households with small dogs. Cats? He’ll bark and chase.
