Hudson is a stunning tri-colored mini Australian Shepherd mix who was found wandering alone in the East Texas Piney Woods. When no one came forward to claim him, Freedom Street Rescue stepped in to help Hudson find a loving forever home in the Northeast. Hudson’s foster mom describes him as the SWEETEST BOY you will ever meet, although he can be shy at first. It takes a little bit of time and patience for him to warm up to you, but once he does, he will trust you through anything and never leave your side! The vet guesses his DOB to be 7/1/2023, but Hudson still has a puppy personality! His favorite past time is running around the yard and playing with all his foster friends. He has boundless energy and almost perfect recall, which makes him the perfect hiking or running partner. Hudson has already learned his basic commands - sit, leave it, wait, kennel, and here! His crate is his safe space, so when he is nervous or tired, he will put himself into his crate. Hudson will sleep in his crate at night, but he really loves to sleep cuddled up next to his foster mom! Hudson has been friendly with every other animal he has met, including cats! Hudson would do best in a home with a fenced yard or lots of property where he can run freely. He’d really enjoy an active family who would like Hudson to join them on hikes or runs. He is best suited for adults and older kids because he can jump or nip when super excited or wanting to play. Hudson would also enjoy a home with an older adult dog who could show him the ropes. His coat is still growing back to its full length. Hudson is neutered, up to date on shots, chipped, and ready for his forever family.
