He is affectionate, loyal, and does best in a calm, structured environment with clear expectations. Pi has completed 12+ weeks of professional board-and-train with Koru K9 for reactivity, resource guarding, and impulse control. He has made real progress with muzzle training, food-related impulse control, and responding to trained cues. His trainer believes Pi is very adoptable in the right home. Pi is neutered and up to date on his veterinary care and vaccinations, including rabies, DHPP/distemper-parvo, and Bordetella. Pi is not the right fit for every adopter, but with an experienced handler, he can be a deeply connected and rewarding companion. He does best with routine, boundaries, and thoughtful management. Pi also needs a home that goes in with full honesty. He has a bite history, but it is tied to fear-based, trigger-specific situations, not random aggression. His triggers include food and high-value items, certain types of physical handling, being startled while resting, and stressful or chaotic environments. Because of this, he needs an adopter who understands reactive dogs and can continue the structure that helps him succeed.
