Meet Tonga Tonga is an 11-week-old Shepherd mix who is all puppy—playful, curious, and full of love. This very good boy is already showing just how special he is and is ready to find a forever home to continue growing and thriving. Tonga loves to run, play, and explore. He’s mastered stairs like a pro and is doing great with house training, with very few accidents. He is crate trained and does well when left in his crate for workdays and at night—he may "chat" a little at first, but settles in with time (a true shepherd trait!). He’s incredibly food motivated, which makes him a great candidate for continued training. Tonga is currently learning leash skills and basic manners—he’s still a puppy and doesn’t quite understand "no" yet, but he’s eager to learn and responds well with consistency. Tonga is great with kids (older kids preferred) and loves everyone he meets. He started out a bit shy and skittish, but has been blossoming beautifully and gaining confidence every day. He enjoys car rides, loves toys, and is happiest when he’s close to his person—he’s a total cuddle champion who wants to be by your side at all times. Expected to be a medium-sized dog (26–50 lbs), Tonga can do well as an only dog or with a canine companion. With his affectionate nature, growing confidence, and loyal personality, Tonga is the kind of dog who will become your shadow and best friend for life.
