About Trixie

Meet Mama Trixie. A resourceful Good Samaritan found Trixie under her porch during the dead of winter in Stamford. After spotting Trixie’s round belly, it became clear she was expecting kittens. Through quick thinking, Lucky Dog Refuge stepped in to support Trixie if a foster could be found, and luckily, a caring family in Norwalk opened their doors. There, Trixie safely delivered and raised her kittens, all of whom have now moved on to new homes. Now spayed and at just over a year old, Trixie is ready for her own chapter. Trixie is a striking orange-and-white tabby with a short coat. She’s known for her affectionate nature and her genuine love for people. Having lived outdoors, she’s curious, enjoys watching the world outside, and would appreciate safe outdoor time—think leash walks or time in a catio. Trixie’s lived happily with dogs and loves the company of other cats and kids. If you’re after a resilient, nurturing, and loving companion with a gentle manner, Trixie is an excellent fit. Bonus fact: Trixie is an Aquarius—known for independence and a playful spirit. Start your journey together! Apply now.
