About Penelope
Penelope’s story starts on the streets of San Antonio, Texas, where she was found abandoned, anxious, and trying to stay out of sight. After being rescued, she received the care she needed—including being spayed and vaccinated—and began her journey to a foster home in Wisconsin. There, her true colors have started to show: Penelope is a gentle, sweet-natured cat with a curious streak. While she arrived timid and unsure, she’s begun to trust people, seeking out attention and affection at her own pace. In her foster home, Penelope has become especially close to the other cats and happily shares the cat tree with her feline roommates. She’s fully litter box trained, healthy, FIV & Leukemia negative, and about 18 months to 2 years old with a short coat. Penelope is ready for a home where she will be loved and have time to settle in. She can be transported to any state, so her forever family could be anywhere. Ready to meet your new best friend?
